Brigantia’s growth continues. The cybersecurity distributor has grown from a team of eighteen in 2019 to forty-two. To accommodate this expansion and further plans for growth, the company has relocated to larger offices in Thirsk, Yorkshire.

About Brigantia

Brigantia is a multi-award-winning distributor specialising in cybersecurity solutions. The company prides itself on their product knowledge, and putting partnership at the heart of everything it does, with MSPs, VARs and vendors alike.

After a successful 2022, Brigantia began the year on a high, with a major office relocation at the start of what’s planned to be their biggest year yet.

The new space

At the end of 2022, Brigantia moved from their office in Ripon into a five and a half thousand square foot office space in Thirsk. Although the Ripon office was modern, it didn’t provide the business with the room for growth.

The new property owner of the office in Thirsk understood the requirements of a growing cybersecurity distributor and worked with Brigantia to create a dynamic space suited to their needs.

The new site is a modern space with the facilities and room for the Brigantia team, as well as the ability to accommodate visits from their vendors and reseller partners. Relationships are key to Brigantia, so this is particularly important to them.

Why the move?

The new location in Thirsk ticked the right boxes for a couple of reasons. The first is size. With a growing team, Brigantia needed a larger space to accommodate them.

The second reason is the location itself. Thirsk is easier to reach from all of Yorkshire and Teesside, with links to the A1(M) and A19 as well as easier rail access. This in turn expands Brigantia’s recruitment pool, which is important for the growing business.

Future plans for Brigantia

Brigantia has some exciting plans for their future.

Angus Shaw is the Sales Director at Brigantia. He is driving sales and growing a team of dynamic and dedicated professionals at the company. Also, continued investment is earmarked for technical training for staff. This is to keep up Brigantia’s exceptionally high standards of product knowledge across the team.

Meanwhile, the recruitment drive continues. As Brigantia grows, the new office has potential for expansion, as they work towards a headcount of 100.

This move marks a confident start to 2023. It’s just the beginning of a comprehensive program of events they have budgeted for this year, as they continue to build on the success of their 2022 program.
