It’s been a week since the Brigantia Annual Partner Conference (our biggest-ever event!) at Twickenham Stadium, and the energy, enthusiasm, and engagement of everyone who attended made it an absolute success from start to finish.
The event was dedicated to two full days of cybersecurity innovation, networking, and knowledge-sharing, and the feedback we've received from nearly 200 attendees has been overwhelmingly positive. I couldn't be prouder of how the event came together, and if you were there, I'm sure you'd agree—it felt special.
Here are some of the things that stood out for me.
From our vendor community, we had a brilliant lineup of presentations, speed pitches and expo from leading cybersecurity experts and our amazing vendors, including Keeper, KnowBe4, Hornetsecurity, CyberSmart, Conceal, Parallels, Redstor, Heimdal, Octiga, Sendmarc, Terra, Sellerly, CompTIA and The Zensory. The variety of information and solutions on display was superb.
Our very own Chloe Schofield hosted a thought-provoking, insightful, and lively panel discussion with some strong industry leaders: Vicky Cartwright from CyberSmart, Julie Bishop from IT Naturally, Jasmine Eskenzi from The Zensory, and Emma Nordström from Heimdal. Their insights on the cybersecurity landscape, their experiences, expertise, and opportunities for women in tech were truly inspiring.
These were a huge hit. It was great to see partners getting stuck in with informal chats and taking advantage of the unique opportunity to ask vendors questions in a relaxed, small-group setting. The chance to have these types of conversations face-to-face is so valuable for building genuine connections and understanding.
We raised an incredible £8,986 at our silent auction during the evening dinner for the My Name'5 Doddie Weir Foundation. It's always a privilege to give back while coming together as a community, and the generosity on the night was amazing.
A key highlight of the event was the keynote speech. We were honoured to have Charlie McMurdie, former head of the Police National Cyber Crime Unit, deliver an absolutely fascinating keynote. Her insights into the current cybercrime landscape were eye-opening and thought-provoking, and she was a perfect way to conclude the event.
Our Annual Partner Conference is always a highlight of the year, but this one took things up a notch. It's incredible to look back and see how much we've grown, the difference in turnout year on year is staggering. It's a testament to the strong community we've built here at Brigantia and the trust and relationships we've created over the years.
The sense of collaboration and partnership in the room was tangible. Every conversation and interaction felt like a step towards making the cybersecurity industry stronger and more resilient.
I’m incredibly proud of what we achieved through this event, and it was so rewarding to see the enthusiasm from everyone who took part. Our goal at Brigantia has always been to support our partners with the best tools, insights, and opportunities, and events like this make it clear that we’re on the right track.
